In fact, over $100,000 in scholarships, grants, and financial-aid targeted specifically for high-school seniors went unused last year because too many high-school counselors did not distribute literature sponsored and approved by National Academy of American Scholars. At a time when families are struggling with unemployment and strained resources, it is not only unethical but outrageous that professional, employed, and working guidance counselors would not offer FREE information to students and parents seeking resourceful information about scholarships, grants, and financial-aid.
