Wisconsin is a U.S. state located in the north-central United States, in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions. It is bordered by Minnesota to the west, Iowa to the southwest, Illinois to the south, Lake Michigan to the east, Michigan to the northeast, and Lake Superior to the north. Wisconsin is the 23rd state by total area and the 20th most populous. The state capital is Madison, and its largest city is Milwaukee which is located on the western shore of Lake Michigan. The state comprises 72 counties.

  1. Wisconsin Scholarship Applicant must be a high-school senior and attend one of the high-schools located in the state of Wisconsin;
  2. Wisconsin Scholarship Applicant must have a G.P.A. of at least 2.0 at the time of completing the Wisconsin scholarship application;
  3. Wisconsin Scholarship Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, and Wisconsin resident at the time of completing the Wisconsin scholarship application;
  4. Wisconsin Scholarship Applicant must register his/her name and email address, and scholarship preference with National Academy of American Scholars;
  5. Wisconsin Scholarship Applicant must write an essay in 500 words or less why he/she believes that as an Wisconsin resident, how winning the Wisconsin scholarship will benefit the state of Wisconsin.
