Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey gained fame by playing a lead role in the "Color Purple" movie. She has served as a role model for many women and men.  In the Color Purple, she played a role in which she was sexually assaulted by a male authority figure. The movie was quite successful at the box office.

Ms. Winfrey has managed  to parlay her role in the Color Purple into becoming one of the most successful, talented, and trusted news figures in America.  However, her recent decision to  interview former L.A.P.D. detective Mark Furhman about his role in the controversial O.J. Simpson murder case while ignoring the central figure and acquitted defendant, O.J. Simpson, has led many in the African-American and journalists around the world to question her integrity, and credibility.

Some critics contend that Oprah Winfrey picks and chooses whom she wants to interview, but does not reveal what standards she uses.  This poll allows the voting public to discuss, rate, and comment on the credibility and integrity of Oprah Winfrey.

Many Americans love Oprah, and value her opinion.  Oprah has been a remarkable success.  Still, there are some Americans that believe that Oprah Winfrey uses her gender, portly size,  and ethnicity  to curry sympathy and favor. The poll we have posted only seeks input on her credibility and integrity as an interview-style reporter.

Oprah Winfrey is a slick marketing fraud. This woman has not married her entire life, and she looks horrible. Why doesn't she discuss the obesity rate of women like her.
