In 1988, National Academy of American Scholars did something that no other academic organization or marketing firm ever conceived: National Academy of American Scholars associated the precious metals of Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze with academic achievement. American Express did not invent the concept, and neither did IBM or McDonalds or any Fortune 500 Inc. Now, Americans cannot even count the number of companies using some variation of precious metals to describe a product or service.
In the Fall of 2012, National Academy of American Scholars will create another bold concept that will rock the foundation of financial-aid and make merit-based awards more accessible to everyone. National Academy of American Scholars is a leader. We invent, create, and develop ways to aid students to get the financial-aid and scholarships they deserve.
