By 2012, however, research indicates that the proportional representation of young women enrolled in college immediately after high school had increased to 71%, but data indicates that relatively no change occured for young men, who maintained a 61% high-school-to-college attendance rate. Corporate sponsors are also aware of these figures. Therefore, more monies have been expended for mom scholarships, and grants for women.
