Continuing Education for adults can be a challenge. The challenge of going back to school to finish a degree or to embark upon a new degree is a ritual faced by millions of baby boomers all around the country. School is a lot different than it was 20 or 30 years ago. New schools have Smart Boards and electronic erasers. 40 years ago, the highest technology was a 35 mm reel of film. So, it can be shock for older adults pursuing continuing education in the new age. In this article, we define the general concept of continuing education to mean an education for adult learners that are far and removed from the classification of being a traditional undergraduate college or university aged student.
